To give you an idea of how flexible
we are, our products can be made in any color
including custom match colors. The surface finishes
range from matte, suede, and taffeta to polished,
leather grain and square matte.
The medical industry has a wide
array of uses for PVC (polyvinyl chloride) ranging
from blood transfusion and waste bags to medical
sleeves. We can produce PVC films that are free
of DEHP plasticizers as well as Non-PVC films
such as PE, PP or Olefins. Our in-house PVC laminator
can laminate our products to a liner that is made
of 100 percent polyester, nonwoven fabric, great
for patients with sensitive skin.
In our society, expectations continue
to rise as we strive to minimize infections in
hospitals and other medical settings. Wiman produces
a new class of vinyl that is sterilizable. We
also produce non-contagious, inflatable pinhole-free
plastics, which are ideal for blood bags and other
medical products.
PVC has also helped to relieve
the problems experienced in third world countries
by ensuring clean water supplies and reducing
spoilage in the storage and distribution of food.
